It all started in August 2018 when a good friend of mine asked me, "Do you think you can build this?" He showed me a picture of a really nice cedar mailbox on flat ground. "I mean... I'm sure it wouldn't be too difficult, but the embankment under your mailbox is not flat by any means!" I responded. So, I drew it up, went to Lowe's, and got started on it. The next day, I dug 2 holes, attached to it two multi-colored solar lights, and put it in the ground.
